Notifications sent from the LifeLabs Learning Platform
Check out the emails you might receive from LifeLabs during your time with us.
All platform users receive email notifications to the email associated with their account based on event triggers. Admins can also integrate with Slack from their settings in the Admin Hub to send specific types of notifications to their learners, and manually trigger certain notifications to their learners from the Team List in the Admin Hub.
Email notifications are sent from "LifeLabs Team (learn@lifelabslearning.com)". User notifications can be suppressed within your account upon request. Emails related to password reset, authentication, and account creation do not get blocked.
There are several types of notifications that are grouped as follows:

An Admin invites the learner to an upcoming event AND sets attendance as 'required' This email is triggered if a Sponsor Admin or LL Admin registers a learner for any upcoming event (both discoverable and undiscoverable events). If a sponsor admin unregisters a learner for an event, the learner will not receive a notification, and the event on their calendar is not impacted. Learners will have to remove the calendar event manually. |

IF a learner already has another registration for an upcoming event of the same topic, THEN they will not receive this email. |

| Automated Outstanding Training Reminder Email preview |
Sponsor Admin enables Automated Outstanding Training Reminders when assigning Training Admin will enable or disable this reminder when creating an assignment.* If enabled, this notification is sent out weekly/bi-weekly (or not at all) on the weekday (Monday-Friday) of the Sponsor Admin's choice based on their Notifications settings in the "settings" tab. If there's a "New Events Available" notification and an "Outstanding Training Reminder" set for the same day, then a single "New Events Available" notification will be sent that includes both the new training and any existing incomplete assignments. *This set by default based on the global Automated Training Notifications preferences the Sponsor Admin has set in the tenant settings. I.e., Sponsor Admins with the global Automated Training Notifications enabled will see this option enabled by default when they assign training to their learners. *All learners who have incomplete assignments get these reminders, even if the due date has passed. |

What is the difference in the content for the Email vs. Slack notifications?
None. In cases where a notification can be sent via Slack, the content and copy is the same as the email.
Note: Slack notifications will only be sent IF the Sponsor Admin has previously set up that integration in settings.
